Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 and Organic Law 3/2018 of 5 December on the Protection of Personal Data and Guarantee of Digital Rights. In compliance with Article 12 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679, regarding the transparency of information, communication and modalities for exercising the data subject’s rights and Article 13 regarding the information to be provided when personal data is obtained from the data subject.

PURPOSE OF THE TREATMENT.

The purpose of the treatment is:

A. Programme implementation

The data required in the form, or the contract are necessary for the fulfillment of aid and support contracts and for activities necessary before their signing.

Without this data, we could not implement our programmes. We provide personal data to third parties as required by laws. Further, we provide personal data dependent on the needs of individual programmes to mentors, supervisors, interpreters, co-operating partners, guarantors, or, to a very limited extent, funders and donors of the programmes, in particular institutions. Because we care about transparency, in some cases you can be regularly informed about our activities and the results of our work, for instance on how we used donations and what we achieved.

B. Donations

For the purpose of accounting, we require those who wish to support the Nuova Global Foundation with donations to share their name, family name and mail address with us.

Depending on the payment method, these data are further processed by STRIPE or PayPal.

STRIPE is a service provided by STRIPE PAYMENTS EUROPE, LIMITED, Ireland, Dublin, C/O A&L GOODBODY, IFSC, NORTH WALL QUAY, D01 H1O4.

PayPal is a service provided by PayPal (Europe) S.à r.l. et Cie, S.C.A., Société en Commandite par Actions, 22-24 Boulevard Royal, L-2449, Luxembourg, R.C.S. Luxembourg B 118 349.

C. Use of websites

Websites administered by the Nuova Global Foundation, are using:

Cookies, which are small text files downloaded from your internet browser and stored on your computer. Cookies serve to recognise repeated visits to our websites and to improve the services provided. Moreover, cookies also serve to transfer information based on which you are recognised automatically. The recognition is done through an IP address stored in the cookie files. This information serves only to improve our services and to speed up your access to the websites. You can disable downloading cookies to your computer by modifying your internet browser settings.

Google Analytics is a tool which serves to analyse websites, provided by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043 USA. Google Analytics uses cookie files to allow analysis of the use of these websites. Information generated from cookies (e.g., IP address, time, location, and frequency of visits to the Nuova Global Foundation websites) is transferred to the place of residence of Google Inc.. The Nuova Global Foundation uses the Google Analytics tool which provides anonymisation of IP addresses. Hence, each IP address is shortened for the purpose of anonymisation before it is transferred out of the EU. Your data is used solely to analyze the use of the websites managed by the Nuova Global Foundation. Google Inc. never matches the data with other data which you may have provided to Google Inc. before.

These policies do not apply to any websites managed by other organizations, partners of the Nuova Global Foundation, and any other third parties that govern their own policies.

D. Mapping

For the purpose of mapping relevant persons, models and approaches in the field of education, economics, active citizenship, and interreligious dialogue, we also process personal data provided to us voluntarily.

E. Unity Mark Award

NGF collects information for the purpose of Unity Mark Award (UMA) from users at multiple points on its web site. We only collect information that is essential to serve you, present your work to the jury, inform you of your winning, remind you of deadlines or to promote your winning, your company and your work to the public. Any personal information collected in forms is for our private use only. Phone numbers, mail address, and email addresses will not be sold or distributed to third parties or published online. Information you provide to us For example, we collect information when you register with UMA for an account, or create a new submission, request customer support, or leave us a testimonial.

The type of information we collect directly from you include your name, email, company name, address, position, and other contact information. We also require information about your project that is being submitted into the UMA award program.

The information may be used to perform a variety of purposes, including to:

  • Promote participants and winners of the UMA program,
  • Remind registrants of the upcoming deadlines,
  • Notify winners of their win,
  • Send updates, and news regarding UMA and other NGF related competitions, and selected partners,
  • Respond, and help with customer service support questions,
  • Monitor and analyze trends, usage of marketing effectiveness,
  • Prevent illegal activities, spamming and other unauthorized usage of the UMA website,
  • Present relevant advertising to visitors.

The entire data collection, processing and award management process runs on the platform judgify.me. judgify.me is a service provided by GlobalSign.in Pte Ltd, 10 Ubi Crescent, Ubi Techpark, #02-82, Lobby E, Singapore 408564. LEGITIMIZATION. We inform you that the legal basis for the processing of your data is one of the above mentioned purposes. The interested party gives his/her consent by visiting our website, filling in the contact/application form and sending us his/her data for the above mentioned purposes.

CONSERVATION OF THE DATA. The data provided will be kept for the legally established periods and/or for the time necessary for the processing and response of the consultation.

TRANSFER OF DATA. The data will not be transferred to third parties except in cases where there is a legal obligation.

RIGHTS OF THE INTERESTED PARTY. You will have the right to access your personal data, as well as to request the rectification of inaccurate data or, where appropriate, request their deletion when, among other reasons, the data are no longer necessary for the purposes for which they were collected. You may request the limitation or opposition of the processing of your data, in which case we will only keep them in order to comply with the legally established obligations.

RIGHT NOT TO BE SUBJECT TO AUTOMATED INDIVIDUAL DECISIONS, INCLUDING PROFILING. No automated individual decisions are made about the user and no profiles are created that produce legal effects or significantly affect the user in a similar way.

WHERE TO EXERCISE YOUR RIGHTS. To exercise your rights you must send an email indicating your request in writing and enclosing a photocopy of your ID.

SECURITY MEASURES. Taking into account the state of the art, the costs of implementation, and the nature, scope, context and purposes of the processing, as well as risks of varying likelihood and severity to the rights and freedoms of natural persons, NUOVA GLOBAL FOUNDATION implements appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure a level of security appropriate to the risk.

PROCESSING BASED ON THE CONSENT OF THE DATA SUBJECT. No personal data is collected through the website https://nuovaglobal.org without your consent.

DUTY OF CONFIDENTIALITY. In accordance with Article 5.1 f) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 NUOVA GLOBAL FOUNDATION undertakes to treat your personal data absolutely confidential and to use them only for the purposes indicated.

INACCURACY OF DATA OBTAINED DIRECTLY FROM THE DATA SUBJECT. For the purposes provided for in Article 5.1 d) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679, personal data that are inaccurate with respect to the purposes for which they are processed will not be imputable to the controller, if you have not exercised your right to rectification.

RIGHT TO COMPLAIN. In the event that you are not satisfied with the processing of your data you may address your complaints to the Data Protection Authorities.
