The Nuova Global Foundation is proud to announce the winners of the Unity Mark Awards 2023, a recognition that honors outstanding contributions in communication, media, and public awareness that foster unity and dialogue.
The Unity Mark Awards was established in 2022 as the third pilot project of Nuova Global Foundation, which emerged from Consulus’ partnership with the Focolare Movement. This initiative celebrates organizations and individuals who use journalism and social communication to deliver objective media content that fosters a common space for positive growth – those that are responsible and not solely driven by commercial interests.
Celebrating Excellence in Communication and Social Impact
The Unity Mark Awards 2023 saw a remarkable lineup of nominees, each demonstrating innovation, dedication, and impact in their respective fields. With an international jury of 14 media and communication experts, journalists and thought leaders from around the globe, alongside public voting from over 3,000 participants, the winners were selected based on the criteria: the concept to bring about dialogue and unity, visual design, editorial quality, sensitivity to local context, impact.

Project: digiPEERS
A volunteering program for Slovak youth aged 14 to 21, promoting digital citizenship – inspiring young people to being leaders in digital inclusion and maturity, impacting over 1,500 young people in Slovakia.
🏆 Public Voting Selection: Plant a Tree, Don’t Be a Stump! (Croatia)
With 1167 public votes, this initiative has planted over 200,000 seedlings, engaging 75,000 volunteers in sustainable reforestation and environmental education.
