Academy for a new generation of Journalism Champions
We invite you to support our foundation in launching an innovative pilot course aimed at empowering young media professionals: the Positive Journalism Academy. With a global network of media houses and over 50 years of experience in community journalism, we are committed to nurturing the next generation of independent, critically thinking leaders in media and journalism. The first academy will be organised in 2025 in Rome, mainly -but not only- for European participants, in collaboration with senior members of the journalism community and academic partners.
Why This Matters: Our course in Positive Journalism will equip young professionals and students of media and communications with the skills to adopt solutions journalism, citizen journalism, and communitarian journalism approaches. In a world often divided by negative narratives, we believe in the power of positive stories to understand, unite and inspire. - Course Organization: The next €10,000 will cover logistics, venue, and materials for the course, which will take place in Rome in June 2025.
- Travel Aid: The final €5,000 will provide financial assistance for participants’ travel costs, ensuring accessibility for all.
